Femke Geerken | TRAINEE
My name is Femke Geerken and I am a second year student of the Master Cognitive Neuroscience at RU. I'll be doing my Master's internship in the Motivational and Cognitive Control lab (Roshan Cools) under supervision of Marwan Engels. The research project is called "Neuromodulation of control beliefs" where we investigate the effects of focused ultrasound (TUS) targeting the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) and striatum on controllability estimation, and (mal)adaptive behavioral strategy selection. I am excited to do my internship in this lab and looking forward to work on this project!
