Jessica Määttä obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Consciousness studies, a Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Skövde (Sweden) and a Master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at Radboud University, Nijmegen. As part of the Cognitive Neuroscience Research Master at Donders Institute, she completed an internship with Hanneke den Ouden and Jennifer Swart. The study aimed to disentangle the nature of motivational biases on instrumental goal-directed behavior and how we overcome these biases. Jessica is in her current position coordinating a pharmaco-fMRI PET project focusing on the role of dopaminergic drugs on brain and cognition.
