Guusje Smeets | TRAINEE
Guusje is a first-year master 's student in Neurology at the Radboud University. She previously completed her bachelor's degree in Molecular Life Sciences, where she completed an internship at the Donders Institute, focusing on the morphology of different mutations in the mTOR pathway.
In January 2025, she joined Roshan's lab as a trainee and is currently working on Filip Grill's project, ConPDopa. This study investigates how Parkinson's patients perceive controllability of their environment on and off their levodopa medication during an explore-and-predict task performed in an MRI. During her internship, Guusje is contributing to data acquisition and will also write her thesis on this topic.
