Judith Bläsing | TRAINEE
Judith obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Radboud University, where she also participated in the Honours Programme. As part of this programme, she completed two one-year research internships. The first was at the Baby and Child Research Centre, where she contributed to an EEG study in 4-year-old children investigating the role of theta oscillations in learning. Her second internship took place at Radboudumc, focusing on patients with chronic pain and opioid use disorder. For her Bachelor’s thesis, she examined sex differences in depression, anxiety, and craving within this patient group.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at Radboud University, specialising in development and lifelong plasticity. For her Master’s internship, she is working on the PRYME study, which investigates the effects of mindfulness training on internalising problems in help-seeking youth. Under the supervision of Maud Schepers and Guusje Collin, she is studying the neural correlates of self-referential processing and how mindfulness training may influence these processes.
