Kitti completed her bachelor degree in Economics (First Class) at the University of Glasgow. During her bachelors, she grew increasingly interested in Behavioural Economics — a discipline which in addition to sheer logic (portrayed by the ‘homo economicus’), also focuses on psychological, social, and cultural factors that guide decisions. Inspired by the insights provided by this specialty, she completed her MSc in Psychological Science with a Cognitive Neuroscience specialisation (Distinction) at the same institution. Next, she got awarded a place in the Doctoral Training Programme within the School of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences at the University of Glasgow. During this Ph.D., she has used pupillometry and EEG to explore the link between pupil dynamics and feedback-related potentials during probabilistic reward learning. Kitti joined Roshan Cools’ team in 2020 as a visiting researcher, and will be part of a pharmacological study to further investigate pupil dynamics during reward learning.
