DEFINITIONS:
Publisher's version
The publisher’s version is the definitive version of the scientific publication. This version is peer-reviewed and has the lay-out of the scientific publication. It is identical with the publication in the scientific book or journal.
Author's Preprint version
An author’s version of your publication is the full text but not yet in the lay-out of the scientific publication in which it is accepted and published. A preprint is a version of the publication that is not yet peer-reviewed; this version has merely been offered to the editorial staff of a journal.
Author's Postprint version
An author’s version of your publication is the full text but not yet in the lay-out of the scientific publication in which it is accepted and published. A postprint is the author's final draft of a publication which is submitted to the publisher. Postprints are peer reviewed and revised but do not contain the publisher's layout.
